Muslim Heritage Month

Overview

Muslim Heritage Month celebrates Muslim culture, history, and contributions to Wisconsin through community events, cultural performances, educational programs, and exhibitions that build understanding and appreciation.

Muslim Heritage Month Overview

Celebrating the Legacy. Honoring the Contributions. Inspiring the Future.

In July 2023, Governor Tony Evers officially declared July as Muslim Heritage Month in Wisconsin, marking a historic moment of recognition and celebration for the Muslim community. This proclamation acknowledges the countless contributions Muslims have made to the cultural, economic, and social fabric of our state and nation.

At the Wisconsin Muslim Civic Foundation (WMCF), we are proud to lead the celebration of Muslim Heritage Month with a series of community events, educational workshops, and cultural showcases that highlight the diversity and resilience of Muslim Americans.
